Texas getting recognized

Slamonline has picked Texas as their #3 preseason pick.

I read that by midsession last year, UCLA had 3 players out with ACL injuries.

Kinda what I was thinking. They probably won't make the top 10.

It has to be because of there post players, but Stafford is inconsistent, and Ariel Atkins, Atkins could be a fine player but I think she's a little overrated..

I think they will be improved from last year, and Coach Karen A. has done a nice job, but maybe top 20 will be a nice improvement for them.

I don't think they will be Top 5, but I certainly think that they will surprise some people. Really depends on whether McGee-Stafford is able to make it back. They probably should have beaten Maryland last year in the NCAA tournament (had it not been for a couple of blown calls) and Maryland made it to the Final Four. They're certainly a dangerous team.

I agree. If she can come back healthy by conference play, they will be in a position to win the conference and do some damage in the NCAA tourney. Without her, things will be more challenging.
