Texas Tech impressive in opener....

They beat South Dakota 88-49..... Their juco guys were very impressive, going for 47 points and 26 rebounds. Pat Knight has been raving about senior Darko Cohadaveric who wasnt good at all last year, but he said the game slowed down and the light is on for him. He is a starter now and had 8 points and 13 rebounds.

New junior guard David Tairu led all scoring with 17 points.

I glad to hear they might be an improved team. I'm all for strengthening the conference because I think it will strengthen us.
