Boyette, Lang, and McCarty are going to cause us problems. I don't see us scoring much inside. It will also be hard to guard McCarty. Hope our outside shooting is red hot.

Indeed, they are going to be a hand full. We must play perfect to beat them.

Texas won this one at the free throw line. Their 15 extra free throws determined the outcome. Everything else was pretty tight - well Stanford actually outscored Texas except for the free throws.

I see that Stanford had one starter foul out and 2 others had 4 fouls. Texas had no one with more than 3 fouls.

I have not watched Stanford this year. Do they always have major fouling problems? Or is this an outlier like our game in Austin last year?

The reason for the free throw difference is the fact that outside of McCarty there was no real shooter on Texas. So everything Texas did was at the basket for the most part where as Stanford shot the jumper and shot it pretty decent.

Stanford just isn't a good team this year, they don't have a super star... I don't see them winning the PAC 12 for maybe the next 2 season...

I wasn't that impressed with Texas, they don't have a offensive, most of the players were just running thru the lane with there heads down hopping for a call, I expect us to slip with them.

I can see that.....i am also waiting to see if Baylor is really this good or is it the opponents are just so dang on weak. Can't wait till January 3rd when OU plays them. I will be at that game for sure. I think that's the night they retire Simms number and i think that will tell us how good they really are. I definitely see OU, Texas, and Baylor as the top 3 but curious till who's first, second, and third. Baylor is just a BIG question mark at the moment

We've been beaten by officials in Austin on several occasions. They do have a home court advantage.

According to the Pac 12 reporters I saw on TV, Stanford is rated behind Oregon State, Arizona State, and Cal.

We don't know how good Texas or Baylor is yet. But, then, we can say that about most teams. Even the signature wins turn out not to be what they were once thought to be.

Going by schedule and schedule alone....have to lean towards Texas right now, but do to the fact that Baylor is the big 12 champ they are still on top. Still can't look over the lost OU had to north Texas, but as they say....it's not how you start but how you finish.

Aerial is supposed to play the next game for Texas and Alexis Prince should be back for the first conference game for Baylor. Should be a great year for the big 12
