I don't know if very many teams with just 8 players available could make it to the sweet sixteen. Then to lose Morgan and still compete so hard. Tht's a lot to overcome when you are playing against Tennessee.

I love watching our women's basketball team every year. This was a challenge for Sherry and her players, but they played some great basketball and had a successful season. I'll miss Whitney, Joanna, Jasmine and Lindsay, but I look forward to watching Vegas, Nicole, Morgan, Sharane, Kay Kay, Maddie and Korbet next year. If Nicole improves as much this off season as she did last off season, she can be all conference and MA bye all American.

Thanks coach Coale.

Totally agree! Did they say what happened to Morgan? I was at game and didn't hear. I assume it was a concussion.

Sherri in post game said she thought it was a concussion when it happened.... but really no other info

Thanks! I was in that corner of arena but way up high.

This was a wonderful season for our Team.

Judging from looking at Morgan on the big screen, I would say it was a concussion but maybe not as bad as Sam Bradford's concussion at TT. Sam never looked like he knew where he was or what was going on. Morgan looked a little better in the second half.

Can't help but say this is one of my favorite all time teams. Compare the way our girls got together with the Tennessee girls at the end of the game with the way Baylor acted after their game. I know Kim would deny it, but both teams hurt as badly but one acted with class and the other didn't.

Sherri commended Sharane on her speech during the post-game conference. Compare that to Sim's or Kim's comments.

Thank for a great season sooners can't wait to next year. At less we lost with class unlike an another big 12 school

Really proud of our girls and their season. I know at the beginning when Kaylon, then Maddie, then Whitney went down, I thought there was no way we would be able to put together the run we did and get an NCAA bid. Well shame on me, glad I had to eat crow on that one. Looking forward to next season, and our new additions. Its going to be a long seven months. Great job ladies on an incredible season. :clap:clap:clap:clap

I just shake my head at all the things this team went through, and to get to where they did, was just remarkable. A very special group!

It was a truly remarkable season, given the barriers this team faced.

I was disappointed that only Jo and Sharane seemed to come ready to play from the tip-off. Everyone else were just there -- and Tennessee had a lot to do with that.

Nevertheless, the girls fought hard all season long. I wish the football team had possessed one ounce of their kind of grit and determination.

This is why I continue to follow our OUWBB team. I have my dislikes about the recruiting methods being used currently, but I like what I see 9 times out of 10.

I was proud to wear my OU gear and to cheer my head off yesterday.

I felt so damn sorry for Joanna. I've never felt that bad for a kid, except my own, who had experienced a devastating last lost. Man, she is a class act in every sense of the word.

I wish we could bottle whatever makes that girl tick.

What an admirable group!! Their cohesion was their strongest asset and they rode it to a Sweet Sixteen! After seeing Tennessee have so much better athletes everywhere I admire us even more for getting as far as we did. Kentucky taught us a few years ago about how much speed is important and several teams have shown us the value of being big but more have taught us to be really tough and about half mean, but being a genuine TEAM works well, too. It just wont get the prize.
