The Blake Show 2015-16

Blake's versatility has impressed me this year. For example, there were times last night that Blake was guarding James Harden. He rebounds if Jordan isn't in there, and was handling the ball with Chris Paul not playing. He's more than just about the numbers. His game is very well-rounded.

G7 24/12/2 and -3 in a win vs MEM

Blake's rebounding is up a bit so far compared to the last 4 years

G8 21/9/3 in a loss @DAL

Tough last two games for BG

Blake is one of 3 players in NBA to have 20+ in every game this year.

Dallas shot 55%. Dirk and Matthews were unconsious. Respect Cuban as a business man but I hope the Mavericks don't make the playoffs.

Just got ejected 2 techs

Nov 18 2008. Steph curry vs BG.
Curry scores 40
BG 25 pts and 21 Rebs

ESPN just did a small story on it

Yeah I was at that game, Incredible talent on the floor that night and neither disappointed.

Blake is clearly frustrated about something. He almost got one against Dallas the night before.

Two of the weakest techs I have ever seen.

No doubt!!!! Especially the 2nd one. Then the coward ref tried to change it to a delay of game call, after he clearly T'd Blake up for something you see at least 10 times per game from all of the league's stars. Heck, even no name players chirp and demonstrate as much as what BG got ejected for......

G9 11 points - ejected in the first half in a loss vs PHX

G10 34/8/9 -2 in a win vs DET

G12 27/7/7 in a loss vs PORT

Man Clips are not gelling right now

G13 9/4/4 in a loss vs TOR

When it rains, it pours.

Clippers looking horrid during the past 8 games.

Blake also had 4 fouls and 6 turnovers. The entire team laid an egg in this one. I think Blake was tired because he has had to carry a lot of the load with CP3 and Reddick being dinged up.

The Clips have problems. The Lance Stephenson/Paul Pierce tandem hasn't been very good. I also think Jamal Crawford has more bad games than good ones. It's time to move on from him. Cole Aldrich as the backup center hasn't seen the light of day. I don't know what to think about Josh Smith so far. He just jacks up 3's. But this is stuff for the NBA board in this paragraph.

I've been to other NBA games, including at the Garden. And their presentation includes some of the same extraneous stuff, but it wasn't nearly as wall-to-wall nor as overbearingly loud as the Thunder's.

Two friends of mine -- the biggest Thunder fans I know, they have season tickets and attend every single game -- are in NYC right now. They went to the Thunder-Knicks game on Tuesday and said it was BY FAR the most fun they'd ever had at an NBA game. And it wasn't because it was an exciting game (though it certainly was -- OKC won in OT) -- but because it was a serious basketball experience with an arena full of knowledgeable and passionate fans. No movie clips, no thumping music (the Garden does it old-school, with an organist) -- the focus was on the game.

The guy, especially, was raving about the experience. He'd give anything, he said, if Thunder games were more like that.
