is to hire Tommy Griffin or Jeff Webster as our new director of basketball operations.

Make it happen, Coach Capel!

You won't see any arguments from me, about this.

Been thinking the SAME thing. But also think that Tommy would probably be out on the deal...Jeff Jeff Jeff Jeff Jeff!

Not going to happen...if one of these guys didn't get the position Phelps was promoted to, what makes you think they would take a lesser position as "director of basketball operations". At least Webster won't take it, but Griffin might if offered.

At the current rate, I think it's safe to say the lead manager and his assistant will get these 2 positions.

This may sound a bit random, but I have a friend who is interested in the video coordinator position.
Anybody have any recommendations other than just looking on the NCAA job postings site?

What makes you think they were offered or even expressed interest?

The name Webster and Griffin were mainly thrown around on this board and I never heard or saw anything to think it was more than fans wishes or rumors.

I don't know if they were offered or showed interest. I would guess if they were offered they weren't interested or we wouldn't have settled with Phelps. Either Webster or Griffin is 10 times a better choice than the video coordinator, but that's just my opinion.

In my previous post, I was trying to make the point that I don't think either Griffin or Webster are interested in being "director of basketball operations". If either is interested, I'd say Griffin would be more interested than Webster but again that's just a guess.
