The Process

I think we will be much improved next year because I expect the freshmen to have a major impact and I think our returning players are at least as good, if not better, than what we have leaving -- the exception being in Vivi's spot.

Center is a wide-open question mark for us now, and it's going to be critical.

I like where Sherri has the team going in the next couple of seasons.

I don't know if this current squad is the best we've had since the Hay Days, but it's close, if everyone plays as hard as they can.

It is going to be interesting to watch the post season and I'm excited about the games ahead of us. Now is this team's chance to really prove itself and to live up to the expectations we had for this group over the years.

All the good programs have short benches at times. UConn has played with 7 or 8 (I forget which year, but recently).

35TT,
Uconn with 8 is a different story than OU with 8.
It's less the number 8 than the quality of the 8.

Oh, I agree. But the point I was hoping to make is that no one plans to have only 8, but sometimes stuff happens - and in happens in Storrs as well as in Norman.

However, few coaches really play more than 7 or 8 anyway, and all of ours seem to be someone you can put in a game and not cringe.

Exactly! Sherri did not plan to have 9 available players this year. Sulkey Mulkey has about 9 or 10 available players, as well. In fact, I don’t think I’ve seen a team visit LNC this year with a full roster of 15.
