This is a joke.....right? UT isn't any better than Owen Field...fact.

I would like to know what went in to making this list, because on the surface it is completely outrageous.

Here's what went into it: Somebody said, "Our SEO sucks, we should get some people to do content farming."

It's not a serious list, just link bait for people who google "best sports venues" or whatever.

No joke.

I wonder when people are going to stop lauding Notre Dame... They've only been relevant a couple times in the past 15+ years.

As a previous poster said, Texas' stadium to be listed and OU omitted is laughable. And Bryant Denny Stadium (Bama's house) definitely belongs on the list; it's arguably the nicest college football venue in the country.

LMAO at that list.

AAC in Dallas? Ford Center in OKC? Yeah, those are nice, new shiny arenas and everything, but what exactly makes them one of the top 100 venues in sports? How are they any different than any other multi-purpose arena that's been built in the past 10-15 years?

No Owen Field? No Gallagher-Iba?

But yes to Folsom Field and Lucas Oil Stadium?

:facepalm

I don't even know where to start when attempting to correct this list.

Notre Dame Stadium? Trash heap

Kyle Field? Dump

Ford Center? Simply a normal arena

Assembly Hall?? LOL what year is it?

Edward Jones Dome? Huh?

If you go by w-l record, attendance as well as gameday atmosphere there is NO WAY Owen Field is not TOP 10,Top 20 at least.

indian bowl and taft stadium are also curiously absent

Somehow, I thought this list (link) would generate some passionate remarks.

:)

Like most lists of this nature, it is just someone's opinion. Plus, lists like this are often just plain silly. Just like "top-100" recruiting lists.
