The way too early leading scorer prediction poll

The free response version from a month ago seemed to point to M'baye but let's see what the poll shows.

Gotta go with Bird...lots of experience, plus hopefully, more offensive firepower on the court with him, will translate to easier scoring opportunities for him.

I was tempted to pick Osby, but I went with M'Baye. He is by all accounts a multi-dimensional player who can score in a lot of ways. Bird will be right up there with those two. But his scoring opportunities could be reduced, to some extent, if Grooms comes in with an improved perimeter shot and one or more of the freshmen guards contributes on offense, as some of us believe they will.

It's way easier for true guards to lead a team in scoring. They have the ball in their hands more frequently, it's easier to double a post, and guards hit more 3's. M'Baye might make this close (especially if he gets significant minutes at the wing/sf spot), but I expect Pledger to have a really nice senior season.

I'd be surprised to see any one player average more than 15 points a game this year. I think the ball will be spread around more because there are more options this year.

Not sure how you can't go with Pledger, if anything his life should be a little easier now with all these new players.

Bird or m'baye. Should be bird but mbaye can play. As stated above things should be easier for bird with another good big.

As the level of talent around Pledger has increased his productions has increased...Everyone is a year deeper into LK's system and with the addition of M'BAYE there is no reason to expect more.
