Even considering all the points brought up about how poorly we played, one thing it comes down to is how poorly Buddy played. His shots never started falling and his turnovers were costly. All year it seem that OU's games went the way Buddy played. It just sad that Buddy played so poorly for the majority of the last 2 (tournament) games. At least some of his shots started falling in the Baylor game. On this game, I was just waiting to see his shots to start falling in the second half, like they have in what is seems like so many games this year.
He does really need to work on his driving to the basket and ball handling. And maybe that will help him to not have so many first halves where he just disappears or can't get his shots to fall.
It also doesn't helps when a team, who is not know for shooting 3's, comes out red hot from the 3pt range. It really opens up the lane which is their strength.
