There is no ball movement. Everybody is trying to be the hero. There is no outside shooting. Jame has very low basketball IQ.

Part of that is on Kruger. His offense is basically "let the players create for themselves, with very little meaningful movement."

It works when you have Buddy Hield.

It works when you have multiple guys hitting jumpers.

It really doesn't work any other time.

Don't know what Lon has against running actual sets, or plays, for at least part of the game. But he won't do it.

I have been say that for a while. No movement, terrible passing, one on one with everyone standing around.

The coaching has to change. Lon it is a very SAD O.

This is pretty good offense with good players...Lon isn't going to change

Notice how Florida's guards penetrate and look to dish when the help comes over.

Then watch OU's guards on dribble penetration, all about shooting contested shots over post players and no post players crashing to the block.

The one time they did dish, Lattin fumbled the pass out of bounds.

+1. One of the few who has actually blamed the coach(es) for part of that. A team does what a coach allows it too. If this had been Capel, everyone would have been calling for him to be fired. Oh wait...

All so true...

Coach K came in to clean up..get things balanced. He's...what late 60's? I'm thinkin this is his "last stop" before retiring...I'd say another year or two. That's his usual track record.

His "coaching" has always been let the players play figure it out. Works with 3 sr and 1 jr. ...

Hopefully this "season" doesn't kill it...

They ran the basic pick and roll to perfection. Isolated a guard and big on one side...ran another guard under...we had no idea what to do. Of course we were super slow on recovery....and they played solid aggressive D that kept us from running anything like that..or anything.
