Thompson and Hamilton

I was agreeing with you just in reverse.

Some guys that resemble Hamilton's body type

Rudy Gay
DeMar DeRozan
Joe Johnson
Nick Young
Stephen Jackson
Gerald Wallace
etc, etc, those are just the names that popped up in my head...

I'd say Gerald Wallace or Joe Johnson is the kind of player Hamilton could/should become. I don't think he's a 3-point shooter solely. He shot under 40% (38 to be exact) in college which will probably translate to 33-35% in the pros...I think he's a lot more versatile and should be a top 15 pick.

I know what you're saying with the type of player, but I assume/hope you don't think he will be the quality of player most of those guys are.
Wallace and Johnson are in another league, and DeRozan is about to become a superstar.
Hamilton is a bitter thicker than Young, but I think that's probably the best comparison of a player he will be like in the league.

Definitely not saying Hamilton will be the next Joe J or Wallace, just what his game sort of resembles both body and style of game. I said top 15 pick, but some are saying top 20...

You don't draft a spot-up shooter at the #11-#18 spot(s). Hamilton has multiple skills.
