Thoughts on KSU game

First I hate that OU lost. However, if I told you that Clark scores 2 points, Cousins has 7, Woodard has 5 and sits the final several minutes of the game, and Hield shots 5 of 16, what would you say the final score is?


My point is OU had several key guys play poorly and was in position to win a road game late. I hate the result but I like that OU was competitive with so many subpar performances.

Played like crap and still almost won.
Didn't like who was on the floor the last 7 minutes. Woodard can win games for you down the stretch with getting to the line. I would have liked to have seen Booker in the game late. Spangler again played very good. Disappointed in Clark and Hield. And way to much Cousins.

I agree. If we shoot anywhere near our average we win this game running away. We missed a ton of open shots and layups. We'll figure this out. Hopefully we show up better against Baylor. They're a really athletic squad.

Yes they were but that is the road. You have to overcome that in the Big XII or be named Kansas so it doesn't happen

It's hard for a very young team - and this is a very young team - to put a big win behind them and focus all their attention on the next game. They'll learn from this.

Agree with this except Cousins being in didn't bother me. I think the problem was who he was on the floor with.
So much for going with the hot hand (well not really hot but not arctic cold like who was on the floor). Polar vortex sucked up Hornbeak and clark and I think Buddy was near by. I have no clue why Jordan sat in favor of Hornbeak (really? WTH?)

KSU is not a very good team.
But just like last year when we should have beaten them in Norman, we played like absolute garbage against them.
They just seem to have our number.

Hornbeak needs to start adding some effin value. He missed shot after shot and provided nothing down the stretch to help his team win this game. I seriously hate games like this one....ugly, slow, you have ksu guys hitting 3's who haven't done $hit all year. Total joke of a game.

Yeah, gotta love when the announcers tell you that guy who is 5 of 6 from the arc tonight vs. OU … is 1 of 7 all year vs the likes of Piney Fork State and Daycare Tech.
Looking forward to a much better result when the Cats come to Norman.

KSU hit a ton of 3's. we were daring some of them to shoot because their avg was the age of most college kids.

Foster can play, OU recruited him hard out of texas, he would have been a great fit for our team.

I will be absolutely shocked if KSU finishes in the top half of the Big 12.
That was not a good team that I watched yesterday.

Southwell is a good player too and he did a great job on Clark last night.
