OK, I hope I am wrong, but I don't think we have the talent to beat hardly anyone left on our schedule playing "duke" basketball, and so in order to salvage a few wins, I think we need to start playing Kelvin ball. I.E. shrink the game to the fewest possessions possible, limit opponents second shots by requiring everyone to go to the defensive glass (quit even trying to release anyone so that we can run and transition), require an inside the arc shot on every possession (nobody on the team has shown any capability to consistently hit the open 3), start mugging, arm barring and hand checking everyone on defense and then when our opponents get to the one and one foul the worst free throw shooters the second they get the ball (in this way steal a few possession), and whatever else we can do take the air out of the ball.

Oh and make newell, blair and pledger live with a basketball, dribble it to school, meals and sleep with it. If they don't learn how to dribble a little better, we are really going to look silly in some games coming up.

And finally, I say give Jeff this year and next, and if he can't turn it around in that time, we need to go in a different direction.

I think if we keep Jeff too long we could end up having a tougher time repairing this program. I don't know if he can recruit at all.

I basically made this same post last week and I agree with your overall sentiment.
