Bucks cut former Sooner Tiny Gallon

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks waived forward Keith "Tiny" Gallon on Wednesday, less than four months after selecting him late in the second round of June's draft.
Gallon was the 47th overall pick. He did not play in Milwaukee's first preseason game Tuesday night against Chicago.
"We wanted to do what's right for the organization and for the player," said general manager John Hammond, who wanted to give Gallon a chance to join another NBA team instead of waiting until the end of camp.
Gallon was drafted before the Bucks made several moves to bolster their front court, and he appeared to be a long shot to make the team as soon as he entered camp.
Gallon didn't immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment from The Associated Press, but did post a short message from his Twitter account, where his location is listed as "On mars."
"Thanks to the Bucks 4 making my dream come Tru," Gallon wrote. "And the Fans and the Haters too."
The 6-foot-9, 290-pound Gallon played a year in college at Oklahoma before declaring for the draft. He was caught up in an NCAA investigation that put his eligibility in doubt over a report his mother was wired $3,000.
Gallon, who was a one-time teammate of Bucks star Brandon Jennings in high school at Oak Hill Academy, Va., has said he knew nothing about the exchange of money. He says he learned it was a loan that was used to pay for his high-school transcripts to be released so he could attend Oklahoma.
The Bucks also cut guard Tory Jackson and forward Billy Rush. Both were signed on Sept. 27 to fill out the training camp roster. The Bucks have 17 players remaining in camp.

That really stinks...I was a big tiny fan....Boy, he really could have used another year in college

He will figure it out though in due time.

He should probably downgrade from three cars to just one.

I can't decide which is more ridiculous: what Tiny writes on Twitter, or the fact that the Tulsa World actually prints what Tiny writes on Twitter.

"And the Fans and the Haters too."

Are there a lot of Tiny haters in Milwaukee? :facepalm

This is not the first time Tiny has pointed an accusing finger at his critics by calling them "Haters." He needs to grow up and take responsibility for his actions, instead of blaming everyone else. Posting crap like that on his Twitter page will not endure him to other NBA teams.

Hopefully he lands somewhere where he has some good mentors.

And the post doesn't make any sense. The HATERS technically would have been proven right today by him being cut. So today the HATERS became REALISTS.

On the bright side, Tiny will have more time for this:

Can you make your twitter private like you can do on facebook? Or is that not possible?

Yes, you can. You can set it so you have to approve people before they can follow you.

Tiny had it like that for a little bit but it is public again I believe. #twitternerd

Then tiny is really dense for not doing that. On one hand I do find it ridiculous and pathetic that so called legitimate news sources have stooped to printing twitter posts word for word, but on the other hand if you are a public figure you should either make your tweeds private or take care not to tweet something that could embarrass you.

It is ridiculous, but that is the way of today's world. With instant info from the web, and the economy in the trash, these people are stooping to new lows to break stories first to keep themselves relevant.

haha.

Still acting like the world is out to get him and like he is entitled.

Can't stand the guy that he portrays.

Get over yourself Tiny.
