Tiny Gallon Announces Return

Prediction: Tiny Gallon is going to be awesome next year and will be at least 2nd Team All Big 12.

If he explodes like I think he can he could be Big 12 POY. The guy is unbelievably talented.
I agree with abd , if Tiny continues to show a better attitude/work ethic combined with the lack of over top post players (this hinges on Udoh going pro) Tiny has a chance to be the best center in the league.

Ummm....let's tap the brakes. Tiny has talent, but I don't look at him and say he can be "all-world". At this point in time, he simply has too much to improve upon in his game (footwork/turnovers, defense, decision-making etc.) before we get too excited. It's very unrealistic at this point to say he is going to be "awesome" next year. It's ok to be enthusiastic about the announcement, but we're falling into the same trap as we did this preseason when we start expecting POY-type of results from him.

Tiny needs to head out to the Bay Area with Fitz this offseason with Blake's guy. He can be a monster, but it will require some work.

That is great news.

I had a glimmer of hope for next year when he tried to come back several times during the A&M game with a bum ankle. I liked the effort and the "want to".

This is great. Already putting the building blocks together for next season.:clap

He can make me a great player. Right now I’m just a good player. Really, I consider myself average right now. And I don’t want to just be average. I want to be a great player.

This quote made my day. With this attitude, and an entire off-season to improve his game/defense/relationships with his old and new teammates, Tiny can do wonderful things next season.

The quotes Capel and Gallon have been saying the past week are quickly restoring my faith in what they want to achieve here.

He had 23 points and 15 rebounds against Ekpe Udoh and Quincy Acy... He had several other big games.

He can do it. True freshman don't produce like that by accident. The guy has the ability to be a monster if he can stay out of foul trouble, continue getting in shape, and have a better team situation.

Loved his attitude in that article. I really have to hand it to Tiny over the past month. He has played with a lot more desire and it showed. We now just need to get him some post support and teach him to avoid some of the nit-pick fouls.

Tiny has been on a roll as of late... you have to admit. :clap

This is absolutely great news. We may actually have a solid core of guys coming back next season. Tiny definitely made the right choice. He needs more time to be NBA ready, but I have no doubt he is a legitimate NBA player.

That a boy Tiny! Work your butt off this summer and you'll reap the benefits next year.
Big news!

Lookout the turn around has begun. Don't be surprised if WW is next. BOOMER SOONER BABY!!!

This is fantastic news! Thank you, Tiny! Glad to have watch you another year, as a Sooner!

Just saw this...great news for OU and Gallon. Definitely made the right decision.

Thanks to all of those with their "inside sources" and someone "close to the program" proclaiming Tiny's departure or transfer.

Sigh of relief. If Tiny works is ass off and continues to get better he is going to be a lottery pick.

I'm not so sure this is good just like with Willie, because if the chemistry issues this year with the current roster, I don't see one offseason changing it that much.
