If you watched it tonight, Toby told Sherri that this team was good. She said that she knew it. She talked about the fact that they hadn't put it together yet. But, after the Iowa State game, they thought they were good. They saw how they each could contribute. She also indicated that the team tends to follow the leads of Vivi and Maddie, that they set the tone. She indicated that it was the OSU game in 2002 when Stacy took over. They began to realize that they were more than just a decent team. They were capable of beating anyone. Sherri said this team is beginning to think like that.

If you get a chance to see the show, take it.

I would also like to see that video clip of the "guys" saluting T'Ona Edwards, after the loss of her mom. I'll bet that's touching, but the TV show didn't have the sound.

After watching the show again, I think that Sherri and Toby were more emphatic about saying that this is a good team than my post would indicate. They were sending a message to the team or to the fans that this team has the talent to be among the better teams in the nation. As Sherri indicated, it is close to coming together, and it will be very good when it does. She was very happy with the defense in Ames.
