Defense

Obviously staying after Forte and limiting his opportunities is a must - but Hickey's improved play recently makes OSU more dangerous.

He has lead them in scoring in the last two games and even had 7 assists and only 2 turnovers at WVU. Impressive.

Given his play, who guards who? Much of this is irrelevant as OU switches every screen on the perimeter - but Woodard is going to need to stay in front of Hickey for OU to lock down the Cowboys.

Nash is, Nash. Will score some, but has a habit of giving the ball away too. At Stillwater in the closing minutes of that game, he had two costly turnovers
as OSU was trying to battle back.

Offense

Get Thomas and Spangler involved early - work inside out. OU has an advantage inside - I think - and the pick and roll with Thomas should be a solid option.

Don't force threes. Buddy, Booker and to a lesser extent Cousins can get a little loose in their shot selection. I'd love to see OU drive the ball early to get some fouls called on Cobbins and Nash.

My mantra from the locker room would be start early! Energy early! Be interesting to see if OU comes out a little tight as they have been pointing to winning in March all year.
