I suppose it depends on whether you're in the camp that says the winner of NPOY should be on a good team, or in the camp that says it's amazing he put up those stats in spite of his team.

BTW, all 5 on the first team were the same 5 on each of the four first teams that the NCAA considers when determining consensus AAs. Not only were they consensus, but they were unanimous as well. I wonder how often that has happened, if ever.

The entire season he led the nation in points and assists. It’s never happened before and he did it against the toughest schedule in the country. I can say with 100% confidence that that will never happen again.

Considering he SHOULD have averaged about 15 assists a game, it's amazing he put up the numbers he did with such a terrible supporting cast.
