Stupid article. Trae has more defensive rebounds than the other guards, way more steals and more blocks than the others except Odomes. This notion that he doesn't play defense is stupid.

He gets long rebounds and is very good at judging where the ball is going to go.. He's good at picking off passes...doesn't mean he plays defense. I think he's at least trying at this point..early in the season he was the worst defender ever!

Someone ran the numbers based on play types. He's bad at defending handoff plays, which I agree with. Everything else, he rates between "good" and "excellent".

Russell Westbrook may be the worst overall defensive point guard I have seen in a decade. In any class of basketball. He gets a lot of steals because he gambles. For each steal, he has 6 or 7 possessions where the opponent goes right by him. Steals are minimum when it comes to overall defense.
