Tramel says "better than 50% chance" Capel is fired

Am I the only one that thinks Tramel does a good job?

No. I think he does a real good job most of the time. Only thing is he will get judgmental every once in a while and try to rile up OU fans. However most of the time he is on the money.

I loved it when he hammered traber (which he does most of the time) about Chris collins and osu.

I really don't care for Tramel. The man has a face for radio and a voice for newspaper. Seriously, the sight and sound of him just irks me.

I like reading his stuff. I don't always agree with him and he is in the business of selling papers, which too often means being provocative.
The percentage thing is meaningless, though. I could assert that there is a better than 50% chance that OU wins Saturday, or I could assert that there is a better than 50% chance that OSU wins. Both assertions are completely defensible, regardless of the outcome.

Am I the only one that thinks Tramel does a good job?

No. I think he does a great job. I think he's very fair and calls it as he sees it, and I think he is a very good writer. He's by far the best sports print journalist in the state of Oklahoma, and maybe as good as anybody else in the states that comprise our conference.

Tramel is decent, although certainly nothing outstanding. For every good article he produces there is a "would the Thunder be better if they had landed Blake Griffin? Probably, but you never know."

The bottom line is that I would be very surprised if Tramel has any real solid sources inside the OU athletic department to back up what he's saying.

I think everyone overestimates how hard it would be to write an article every day. I mean, damn, every once in a while you're going to churn out some piece of **** about nothing in particular.

I mean, remember when Jenni Carlson wrote about Tony Lindsay's knees. Seriously! An article from the point of view of Tony Lindsay's knees...

I much prefer to read Tramel's thoughts rather than hear them.

I think you mean underestimates, but yes. The internet is filled with blogs that went dormant after two weeks. Lots of people have something to say with post one and two and five and ten, but it's when you have to come up with original content weeks and months down the road that things start to get hard.

D'OH! Yeah, I did. For whatever reason (probably because I'm an idiot) I get those words mixed up in my head, I do the same for leeway and headway.

As much fun a y'all are having at Berry's expense... I'm afraid he's right...

Am I the only one that thinks Tramel does a good job?

No you are not. Having been in the profession, I believe, Berry is an excellent writer and a very knowledgeble sports fan. From his radio shows, he appears to have strong moral character and a willingness not to give in to inane ramblings of Traber and Al.

I, for one, like him very much
