Closes thing to a home-run hire possible considering circumstances and coaching pool imho. He has a track record of being a big winner, runs a squeaky clean program, very good x and o's guy, track record of raising up programs in NCAA trouble and to top it off he is a excellent human being. Not to mention he IS a BIG XII guy first and foremost!

I think Lon is going to do great things, and I may just buy season tickets if I can figure out how to make it work with the drive from Kansas City.

I have wanted Kruger to be our coach since Sampson left for Indiana. It took 5 years to happen, but at least it happened.
