Transfer Portal 2025

I like them. I'm going to assume it's dude that half the board doesn't want? Lol.
So every commit Moser has ever gotten? No matter who he gets, someone b!tches about it. I love Davis. He has all the stats, yet people piss and moan about 3pt%.

I whine a lot on here about the direction of the program, sure. So I know that no matter who Moser gets, people on here will be upset. If they are upset or questioning Davis, then no one is safe.

I dunno. Seems everyone despises Collins on here.

1. DJ Wagner
2. Boopie Miller

for who the top 10 guy would be. Wagner makes the most sense now that it's not Wright.

But he's also not a top 10 kid IMO. I really don't love his game at all.

That lineup would win more than 6 games in the SEC, IMO.

I'd love to move Wague to the bench, Kai to second team, and Wague can get 8-13 minutes.
I'm just basing it on the fact that Pack would not be cheap. IMO it'd leave us with a choice of paying for another guard to score, or paying for a legit ish 5. I'm cool with either they choose, just get pack, and figure the rest out after.

If you're recruiting Nijel Pack and there's potentially another PG type who could be looking at OU who's not in the portal...

....you can't take Frankie, right?
You don't think Moser wants to play three guards again? In theory it would be Pack, transfer and/or Forsythe + whoever the other transfer is.

IMO it'd be idiotic to if its those 3.

Pack 6'0
Collins 6'1
Forsythe 6'0

And a 4 in Davis who isn't a physical rebounder type, he's more of a 3-4 tweener. You'd get dominated on the glass night in night out all over again. The 3 guard method works if your 3rd guard is a 2-3 Tweener whose in the 6'6 range, like Jones.

I said it previously but

Someone posted it on Scoop but didn’t clarify that it’s supposedly a top 10 guy, just a “big name guard from a P4” & my guesses were:

Jeremy Fears
Caleb Foster
DJ Wagner

But with the top 10 thing, I’ve got nothing. Braden Smith to Oklahoma 😂

Would Christian Anderson look around? Extremely doubtful imo and wouldn’t call him top 10 at this moment but I think he’s going to be a very good player. OU also recruited him after his decommitment from Michigan.

No disagreement there. Hard to say since we don't know who the other transfers are.

I also have no feel for Jeff N. and Jones. One or both could easily be starters based off what we heard last season.

Didn't Baylor win a natty in '21 with 3 starting guards under 6'2"-6'3"??

If the guards are good, and you can balance it out with size and a presence inside, like Baylor did, you can win with smaller guards.

The question/problem is are those guards good enough, and is there the size inside? At this point with the projections the answer is no.

I guess my assumption are...

1. Frankie wants to start
2. Frankie wouldn't play the 2

3. Nijel Pack would start as the PG anywhere he goes
4. He wouldn't play the 2

5. Mystery player would take the Fears role ie the 1 spot....you can't recruit a starting pg if you take one

6. Ideally Jones or Nwankwo would start at the 3

7. OU would want a legit scoring 2G.

But chit, who knows with this staff.

Hard to know what kind of rebounder Davis is just from the numbers. The numbers don't jump off the page, and since he isn't a perimeter threat, you hope he at least gives you rebounding and a physical presence.
