Couldnt disagree more. (respectfully as a stats nerd)

It is the reason that Luka is not the lead MVP and Shai is. It is all efficiency and advanced stats.

Things he improved?
-Blocks, Turnovers, FOULING, DREB

Things he got worse at?
-2P%, eFG%, Pts, TS%

Yes, he was the same player, just played more minutes. Thankfully he was a decent player, but he did not improve "head over heels" that much other than fouling less.

PER, my main go to...he was the same.
% tend to go down when volume goes up. Bama mo couldn’t stay on the floor. Mo his last year was much better player than
Have to watch games.

have to discount some per 40 comps if a player previously plays mostly mop up duty against the other teams scrubs (or the game is pretty much over and no one is trying as hard), and the same player is later going against the opponents best players when the game is very much in the balance. Mo is in this category.

Mo definitely got better, but I was hoping to see more consistency this year, also.

Not sure why the "jerk" response, I am being respectful here...I watched every game but two.

Go back and look at my posts from a year or so ago, I said Mo was decent but couldn't stay on the floor because of fouling.

I understand how %s and volume work, but to act like %s go down and you can still say "he improved just because he played more" is contradictory.

I agree to an extent, but was he playing mop up duty the last two years? He did start at Alabama 8 games and 4 at OU, he played key minutes just couldn't stay on the floor.

Mo also had more talent around him this year. That should have gotten him easier looks, thus maybe a big drop in shooting percentage shouldn't have been expected with increased volume.

Just a thought.

Most of the dark green cells are either in his first year at wvu when he started 0 games and played mostly mop up duty or his senior year at OU when he played more than double the minutes he has ever played. That is what I am looking at.

Didn’t mean to be a jerk. Sorry.

Just saying eye tests matter at times. Numbers can be skewed

If Mo had played as well and as focused all year as he did the last 10 or so games, we would all have a different view of Mo. He really played well the last few games last year and then again over the last 10 games this year. Not sure what to make of his play over the first two thirds of the season. My wife and I got to me Mo, and he sure seems like a nice kid. I didn't think he was great, but thought he was a good and productive player as long as he stayed focused.

Ramadan Mo. Perhaps he was more focused. I recall it being mentioned last year too.
