Others facing a bleak situation prefer to have no hope and be relentlessly negative. We all consume entertainment in different ways.

I like to be realistic. It's not about being positive or negative. It's about looking at the facts, and discussing OU basketball as a topic under that set of facts.

I'd love to be positive and have hope. It's not my fault I don't. I haven't been given a reason to feel that way, and I'm certainly not going to pretend otherwise.

Laughable comment. Ridiculous to make this assertion when it is all but assured we have more NIL than plenty of power conference teams. You think Pack, Brown, Reid, and Davis were playing for free?

Pretty sure he was referring to previous rosters under Moser, e.g. before OU really bought into NIL.

The narrative is that we didn't buy into NIL until five weeks ago, when Denny made his comments. And he said within the post I was quoting that our NIL was awful this season.

Looks like we are almost at the very bottom right now of portal rankings. Almost everyone has been grabbed up already so I don't know who they could be looking at, can't be anyone in the top 10, could it?

Are the women not doing pretty well? At least a couple of former 5* recruits that have done well elsewhere, no?

One of them averaged 5 ppg at Kansas last year but was limited due to multiple injuries and then the other one is a former McDonald's All-American who averaged 10 PPG as a freshman at Kansas State, so she should help immediately.

The issue is they have a 6'2 freshman coming in and a 6'3 sophomore returning, and that is it. Lack of height in the SEC can cost multiple games... Could take a step or two backwards as far as results go which is not ideal.

This. Money absolutely is a huge factor. But kids like playing for winning coaches. That will never change. And Moser is not a winning coach.
