Lusk update: Riley no.1 target, need to land.. haskins they like but he's gonna end up somewhere else.. the center dynes from usc is not a target.. the 2x from last week he still feels really good about and believes it's still happening.. must land Riley, he likes ou's chances but not enough for a prediction..

Right on time, within minutes of the lusk update.. bob echos the exact same thing.. "its Riley or he's locking the thread" also says, cincy wants him badly so we'll need to pay up to get him..

Yeah and it’s disappointing, too. No intel but feel like that was a decision made by SS and Murdock to not go all in or as all out on basketball. When he first joined Scoop he was much more engaged with basketball and seemed to have news no one else had. Since they moved, not so much.

I know everyone has been frustrated and a little cynical about the state of men’s hoops, but it shows in their coverage or commitment on SS like we cover it because we have to. Outside of their coverage on pressers or postgame, not a lot of added coverage or inside info as they shifted focus. Still like him and enjoy his reporting as I feel like it’s not all on Bob.

Lusk is the only local one hustling behind the scenes now. And if you filter through the constant optimism on every subject, the kid doesn’t do a bad job.
