Some were. He doesn’t really have a great case either, even with the medical history. Played 14, 31, 34, & 24 games.
Cincinnati received commitments today from two guards, Trevian Carson and Elijah Perryman, and already has a commitment from Myles Colvin. If Riley still picks them over a sure starting spot with OU, then I'm not sure what to say about that because I'm sure I would have to be censored.

Wrist injury that takes an entire year ? Making a guy take a redshirt year then being the focal point of their team is how you continue to win.

In all fairness, he also said he still thinks it’s 50/50 with maybe a slight Cincy lean. Nothing is done yet and is still up on the air.
The comes back and posts about an hour or so later he expects Riley to commit to Cincy.
And based on some of his predictions on the past, not sure how great his accuracy is on predictions. Does a great job with possibilities and visit, but his commitment calls?
I would probably trust Trilly more for accuracy on commitments.
With that said, if he goes to Cincy that tells you all you need to know about Denny’s increased resources to be competitive.

Idk he told us Mingo to Baylor before anyone else leaked it. Hes been a lot better this year. Kids not going to be on the OU beat for long, he’s doing a great job.

Don’t get me wrong- I think he’s doing a great job, too. He’s the only reporter really dedicated to covering OU hoops. Glad he’s doing it.
But at one point, if you’ve paid attention closely, he had us as favorites or a great chance to land Oswin, Wagner, Mingo, Barrett, Knox, and maybe lose Dayton, Rogers, and possibly Brown and Scott. Had Atak going to a major SEC school. He did nail Rooths. He does a good job with info but seems to throw a lot out there or play both sides of the coin out there to cover either side. Some of our frustration on losing out on guys is because we were led to believe we were “in” on guys who maybe we weren’t real players.
Again, glad he’s delivering the info. And kudos to the hustle.

No one is certain. It’s the go-to excuse/assumption. Could just as easily prefer Cincy for another reason. Perhaps, say, the coach.
I want to be an optimist, but every day which we can't get a commit from a starter, that optimism wanes. This is starting to have a 2010-2011 season feel. After we went thru another round of NCAA investigations, Capel missed on every single spring target. We went into his final season knowing we were going to have a losing record (we lost to Chaminade for crying out loud) and knowing there was going to be a new head coach the following season...and that's exactly how it played out. I was hoping that would be a once-in-a-lifetime debacle...I hope we're not going thru that again.
Just abort this program. It's obvious no one in the AD takes it seriously, so why should we? No kid wants to come play for Porter Loser, given his history of not being good at OU. This season could be historically bad.
