Transfer Portal 2027

Dumb. Money is money, and there is more available from outside of OU’s revenue sharing.

I might understand if this was some long-term deal, but he only has one year of eligibility.
Unless OU has had issues funding their deals through collectives in the past. I'm not saying that has happened, but it would be an explanation.

It’s all estimates for 2027 season if I am understanding. May be good but not based on prior years. We could estimate Roger’s to have great numbers next year, prior season may not show it.
Evan is one of the best in the business at this stuff. He isn’t just making crude guesses when he projects next season.

Maybe players don't look at OU as good destination regardless of the money. We do have some coaching issues.

He’s just not the type of big to be successful in the SEC. He’s not athletic or quick enough. We all know the Blueprint. He’s not it.
Broom from Auburn last year was an absolute stud and he wasn’t athletic or quick. Not saying or implying Rogers is anywhere near that or will be, but at the college level, a big body that knows positioning, has touch around the rim, and develops two go to moves can be successful.

I think he has potential as well. I am an optimist in this case.

He's currently none of those.

I haven't given up on him, but I don't really like his combination of skill set and athleticism. Nor that Hump is his "big man coach."

Have you seen him in warmups?
I don't care what a big guy looks like dunking in warm ups.

He's not overly athletic. That's been said about him all thru recruiting. Fine. He needs to be skilled. He's not really that either. He's not a boulder, he can move some, but I wouldn't say he's really all that athletic compared to other SEC bigs. His best bet is to develop some actual skills. Back to the basket stuff.

Agee for a&m is another.
