it is a very shortsighted approach and is bad for the game of basketballNo one wants to develop kids now, especially when the risk of them leaving is so high. Everyone wants the finished product and wants someone else to do the developing. If the kid isn't a near lottery pick, why waste time on him? Seems like today's mentality.
It’s the natural outcome of free transfers and portal. Whether you want to or not, coaches have to do this to be competitive. Players aren’t going to sit for 3 years waiting their turn. Coaches have to win so they look for the best players possible. That means not waiting on guys to develop. It sucks but the environment has been created by poor leadership from the ncaa and the leaders of college athletics over the last generation.it is a very shortsighted approach and is bad for the game of basketball
I noticed that, too.83% from FT last year is a nice surprise. Hopefully they can develop him further. Could be a decent back up.
i don't think Rogers can play the 4 at all and they very much need another GuardWOW!
Is there a chance where we play Rogers or Gak at the 4?
Brown - Forsythe
Pop - Hendricks/Fr coming in.
Reid - Mayfield or Hendricks
Rooths - Rogers
Gak - Yak
Can yak play the 4 with rogers or yaak at thr 5i don't think Rogers can play the 4 at all and they very much need another Guard

Yaak seems like he could play a traditional PF role. Not sure if he can guard the modern 4 position. Hard to say off of watching highlights. He looks to have exclusively played the 5 and Oregon St. He played in some 2 big lineups, but looks like he's playing the 5.Can yak play the 4 with rogers or yaak at thr 5
