Treece lil sis

It's still early, but that's a big get for UK.

With McKenna here, I would have thought we had the inside track.

With McKenna, Vivi, EJ, and Nancy, we may have created a perceived logjam.

I could see that. With Ana Llanusa already on board, I think Point guard is the bigger need for next year.

If she is worried about competition, she will have that at every top 20 program. No school only has 1 decent/good player at any position. I doubt that caused her to pick Kentucky.

Kentucky is 6-7, 6-3, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2, and 6-1 across the front, and the tall ones graduate this year or the next. There just isn't much height. She may not want to compete with her sister, and she may want to lead a different life. The Ogwumike sisters went to the same school. The McFarlands went to three different schools.

Apparently, Sherri is bringing in guards for visits.

Texas, Baylor, Kansas, TCU, and Tech all have there point guards for the next few years, if Sherri can land Chasity Patterson or Alexis Morris to go along with Mulkey, they could really help elevate the program.

Patterson and Morris are going to be recruited by many top programs so I don't like our chances with them. I think Johnson is a player we might be able to sign if she doesn't commit to the Aggies.

Since Treece is off the board, we need to really go hard after Vivian Gray.

We also need a really good 3.

We have three years of a point that is as good as any of them. I understand that Sherri is looking primarily at guards right now.

I know how you like to twist people's post, and make it seems like people are sooner haters... Personally I feel like Ortiz is about even with Johnson (Baylor) both have deferent roles on there team, but both are the best point guards in the big 12... What I'm getting at is by Ortiz JR year we'll have mostly 2 guards, I thought Dungee would be a combo guard but she's more of a 2/3 type of guard. It would be important to have a freshmen come in 2017 and play behind Ortiz for 1 year. Ortiz started last year as a true freshman, but we might not be that lucky in a few years...

I just posted your post. You didn't like it the second time around? I simply stated a fact: our point is as good as anyone's, a known commodity, and she will be here three years. We may have a freshman who would be here another year as a point. Meanwhile, Sherri is recruiting guards.

I know that Prospect Nation and HoopGurlz has Patterson rated highly. I don't think she is a point, does remind me of Aaryn in her ball-handling ability. Dungee has better handles, and she isn't a point.

I understand what you are saying Mac. But it also means those thinking other teams who are relying on freshmen this year to make them conference champs are more than likely going to be disappointed.

Experience is critical (and a difference maker) in the vast majority of cases, even though we can all think of a handful of exceptions.
