Frank Haith has a nice looking team here... They can shoot 3's at all 5 positions... Their PF hit 44-103 from 3pt line, their PG is a 40% 3pt shooter, and Curran Scott shoots 45% from 3 and gets to the line a lot.

Would be good to see them back in the NCAA Tournament.

PG: Sterling Taplin (6'1'' 200 JUNIOR)
Appeared in all 32 games with 30 starts … averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 assists and 3.2 rebounds per contest … shot 39.5-percent from the field, 40.3-percent behind the arc and a team-leading 84.5-percent at the free-throw line … was even better in conference action at 10.4 points, 4.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds per outing

SG: Jaleel Wheeler (6'4'' 195 SENIOR)
Appeared in 30 games with 29 starts and ranked second on the team in scoring (9.3 ppg), rebounding (4.3 rpg) and assists (2.0 apg), while he shot 44.6-percent from the field and 72.5-percent at the free-throw line

SG: Curran Scott (6'4'' 210 RS Sophomore)
Appeared in 33 games with 18 starts as a freshman in 2015-16 at Charlotte, where he scored in double figures 17 times, including five contests with at least 20 points ... averaged 10.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, and shot 45.2-percent from the field, including 43.9-percent on 3-pointers, in his only season with the 49ers … also led the team with 122 makes at the free-throw line, where he shot a squad-high 83-percent

PF: Junior Etou (6'8'' 235 - RS Senior)
Was the only TU player to start all 32 games and his 12.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game led the squad … shot 49-percent from the floor and 42.7-percent behind the 3-point line … during conference action he averaged 13.4 points and 6.9 boards per game, while he shot 47.4-percent from the field and 45.6-percent behind the arc

PF: Martins Igbanu (6'8'' 244 - Sophomore)
Appeared in all 32 games with 17 starts and averaged 6.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, while he shot 55.9-percent from the field in his rookie campaign … also hit five of his nine attempts from behind the arc (.556) … earned a spot in the starting lineup for the final 13 games of the season and averaged 9.4 points and 4.9 rebounds during that stretch … averaged 7.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game and shot 55.6-percent during conference action

I'd like them to get back to the tourney also. Especially after the money they forked out to get Haith.

They had a good start to last year and then ........ Pat Birt was their only senior last year and was a player they had expected to count on, and he had a poor season and often found himself on the bench.
