Tulsa Sooners - Chris Plank departure?

Has anyone heard where he is headed?

I heard he was going to "possibly" announce something on Toby Rowland's show Wednesday, but I missed it. Just curious.

I heard he's moving to Norman -- most likely got a job in the Athletic Department. That last part is just speculation.

It wouldn't be surprising for the department to continue to grow. It is amazing at how many jobs have been created in the athletic department. The budget never stops growing and increasing the red tape for the coaches.

Not just the athletic department...universities in general.

That would make sense, especially since he was talking about breaking the news on Toby's show and the fact it has been rumored he will remain the sideline reporter.

Wonder if he will have a role in the TV programming?

He's working full time for sooner sports properties in a variety of roles starting at the end of August.. & is also, most likely, going to do some radio for KREF..

Yeah, it's especially rough when he does the OU baseball PBP when Toby is busy with basketball responsibilities:

Maybe the ugliest radio I have ever listened to. Brutal. Again, seems like a good guy and I would think would do a good job for Sooner Sports but, God please, no PBP work.
