Two new bracket projections today

Wow. I think even the most optimistic of us would not see OU as a 7 seed. That would be great

In 2008 we were 22-11 and had lost to a 12-20 Colorado team. We were 9-7 in conference and also lost to Stephen F. Austin.

We ended up as a six seed. Everyone was surprised. I think we'll be a 9 or lower, but stranger things have happened.

7 isn't going to happen..8 seed or higher for us. And I would much rather face a 2 seed.

The two brackets posted had us as a 7 and 11, all you said was I would rather be an 11 which through me off.

I will sleep better next Saturday night if OU beats ISU and makes it to the Big-12 tournament semi-finals.

We would all sleep better if we can win the ISU game. There is 0% chance that we miss the tourney if we win that one.

People on this board were the only ones that didn't.

Nobody (except maybe some trolls) said we were out. Some of us said it keeps us on the bubble.

And that CBS projection above has OU labeled as just that, on the bubble. To me that means it is still possible, under the right scenario, that OU could lose our spot in the Dance. Might take a lot for that to happen, but it's still possible.

Had we won last night, that wouldn't be the case.

I think we're in the tournament solidly at this point. We have at worst a 11-8 record (if we lose to ISU), and 20 wins. With our strength of schedule and RPI, I think we're going.

We aren't on the bubble. I guess we can continue to act like we are though, however dumb that may be.

That says nothing about how bad the loss yesterday was. No one wants to enter postseason off that sort of performance.

CBS and Jerry Palm are more informed than you or I, and he has us on the bubble. On the bubble meaning it is still possible, even if it is unlikely, that we could miss out on the tournament. Are we likely in? Yes. Is it a given.....are there no scenarios that would leave us out? I don't believe that is the case yet.

Can you blame us for being gun shy at this point? It's been 4 years since we've been to the NCAA tournament, and 7 years since we've been with a team that didn't include Blake Griffin.

I'm not going to say we're in until we're in. It's not a "we suck" mentality, but I don't want to be crushed when our name doesn't show up.

Lunardi's got us on the bubble as well.

I get that. But this team's shown me enough and has a solid enough resume to withstand that game yesterday.

Believe it or not that's a good thing. The TCU game was what, maybe the second time in 30 games we've shown up and just not played well at all? At ISU being the other.

The NCAA committee isn't watching every OU game. They are looking at our bad losses. Texas, TCU, and Arkansas. We have 0 quality wins outside of conference.

We need to beat ISU and stamp us in the tournament and not put our fate into the hands of the committee.

Arkansas is not a bad loss... Don't know where you're getting that crap from.
