Two practices to be televised live on FS Oklahoma

This is really cool news. My schedule doesn't permit me to attend the practices, so I'll have the DVR set for both of the men's practices.

Know what channel on dish network? Can't seem to find it!

Very cool. Just set the DVR for these. Thanks for the tip. :krugs

How the world has changed. In 1982 OU and Georgia file suit against the NCAA to gain greater rights to sell their product on television. At that time I think we got maybe 5 college football games a week, possibly even less. (My thought is 2 on 2 networks and one on a third)

30 years later we have probably 30 football games a week on television, possibly more basketball games, I was flipping channels last night and ran across two different women's volleyball games and now practices are going to be shown on TV. OU and Georgia couldn't have been more correct.

I have my DVR set; looking forward to watching it.

Denver is right. I still think there is a culture in the ncaa (I refuse to capitalize it)of getting back at OU. When you challenge its power you challenge its reason to exist. For my part it should be changed so completely as to be unrecognizable. I want a more complete dvd of the women's national championship series but the ncaa hasnt released it to the university. Bastages.

I suspect the NCAA is happy it lost that litigation. There is a lot more money for everyone now.

Do you have to pay to watch it on Soonersports?

Watched most of it on SoonerSports. Couldnt tell much. Was it on the big screen? Where?
I need a report from one or more basketball gurus.

I watched it on FCS Central from 2-3 PM here in Keller. I have Verizon and able to see most OU telecasts down here.

I recorded it from DirecTV here in Houston. I notice it's scheduled to be re-played several times
