We have learned that California point guard Cezar Guerrero and Junior College big man Phillip Jurick are at the Lloyd Noble Center for today's game.

Guerrero, a 5-11 point guard from Bellflower, Calif. should be no stranger to those who follow the board here on OUHoops.com. He's rated as No. 61 nationally by Rivals.com.

Jurick has been mentioned before by William Jennings as a player the Sooners are keeping an eye on. He's a 6-11, 265-pound big man who initially signed with Tennessee out of high school.

We'll get William Jennings working the phones after this weekend to find out how the visits went. Here is a photo (just sent in by soonersam) of Jurick and Guerrero sitting with OU assistant coach Brian Goodman during the pregame warmups.

This is just plain awesome.

Sounds good. When Capel executes this turnaround it will cement his status as a great coach for once and for all.

It should't be hard for Capel to convince them they can play right away.

Hard to tell since I am stuck watching the game on TV, but Cezar looks kinda bored.

Stevie Clark 2013 guard out of Douglass is here along with a few others I don't recognize. Maybe shaq morris 2013 post edmond Santa Fe might be one of the others.

Great to see them at the game today. I hope our horrible basketball doesn't scare them off.

Just what I was thinking.

Anyone who watched today's game could see that we have got to improve our guard play to compete at a higher level next year. Our starting guards (Cade, Carl and Steven) had just as many turnovers between them (10) as assists. That won't win many games in the Big 12 Conference.

To be fair, Cade did contribute 13 points and 6 boards. I'll also add that he was the leading re-bounder. Go figure!

jmiz, This is virtually the same offense we ran with Blake. The difference there is no Blake to bail you out when the first option stalls. Those of you who think this is ever going to be successful offense without a superstar are delusional. If you watch A&M's offense you realized how terrible ours is.

As for the recruits, hopefully they liked the facilities and the people because the basketball was garbage.

Im not sure those two being here and watching that game is good at all.
