Unbelievable Disrespect

Do you think Ryan will provide the Zags with any kind of scouting report "Psst, that Smart guy flops a lot."

Don't know where we're playing in Spokane but Spangler should be familiar with the venue.

Lol, probably. "Yo, Coach Few, let Smart shoot 3s and faceguard Forte."

I just hope the"Zags" beat them by 20, but I would settle for a win by 2. Just win Zags.

I just think it's funny that you refer to Stuart Scott as an "analyst."

Referring to Digger Phelps as an analyst is also a bit of a stretch, but I'll let it go.

I think OSU and OU are in a good position to live up to their talent levels in the NCAA, especially since both have not fizzled out but gotten some good wins to finish the season.

Analysts will pick against us because of our defense. They have a right to, as defense seems to be huge for the eventual champion. I think we will play good defense, as we have improved a lot...but the numbers remain. I bet we play good defense on thursday night.

And I think OSU rallies late and beats the Zags by 2.

If you guys can't see the difference in the way OSU is playing since Smart re-entered the line up...winners of 5 of the last 7 with both losses coming in overtime to the two highest seeded big XII teams...

I hear a lot of talk about OSU's win streak after Marcus Smart returned..But I hear nothing about OSU's 4 game losing streak WITH Marcus Smart....When pundits talk about OSU beating KU....West Virginia is saying "WTF..We beat KU by 20"

92-86 = 20?

Yep the 4 games we dropped with Smart...OU played well in Norman, then 3 close losses...sucks

It is a direct result of the Marcus Smart hype machine.

Who would have guessed the player with the lowest FG% on the team (of players who see actual minutes on their team), a below average FT% for a guard, and a bad 3pt shooter could get THIS much hype.

Final Four run? Championship game? They have 5 players. It's the shortest bench in the entire tournament. Their tallest player is 6'7''. They don't have a traditional point guard. They don't run any kind of recognizable offense. They can't protect the rim on defense.

This team, at least to me, does not have the traditional make-up of a Final Four team.

i agree, OSU is not a final four team. They have too many issues including lack of interior play, reliance on 3 points shots and no bench.

Very, very well said.

That's why I think it's it's odd that anyone is even predicting OSU out of the round of 32. Just for the sake of argument, I'll concede Gonzaga.

Arizona is a HORRIBLE size mismatch for OSU. They have a legit 7 foot center who averages 10 points per game and a 6'9" power forward that most NBA draft profiles describe as a "freak athlete." I really have no idea how OSU will deal with that kind of size, and I doubt Travis Ford has much of one either.

I suppose stranger things have happened, but I'd be pretty shocked if OSU was able to stay within double digits of 'Zona for most of the game.

Of course Oklahoma owns Arizona in the Tournament. It may just be an OU thing or it could be the entire state.

I for one think OSU has def played better... But what started that losing streak is the same thing that cost you guys in those overtime games, a lack of quality depth. I was at the game versus KU in The Big 12 Tourney... Your boys just don't have the legs to make a run. That's why I am so surprised that people are picking OSU to go far in the tourney. It defy's logic, and seems improbable... Not saying it is impossible, but it is highly unlikely.

I didn't see any of this nonsense, I just can't believe ESPN is letting Stuart Scott pick games. Or did he just say it in passing during a segment?

I hate when these studio anchors/PBP guys start telling us their opinions.

It's bad enough to have to listen to so many know-nothing analysts.

Gonzaga has a starting center at 7'1'' 295 who averages 10 and 7 and a power forward at 6'9'' 245 who averages 15 and 7. OSU is probably running into the two biggest teams in the NCAA Tournament in the first 2 rounds.

The final Capel years were tough on many, including our program's national reputation. Shock the world, guys
