This is some bad basketball. Neither team looks ready to play.

I've always heard that a team plays like it practices......Will we ever learn to value the ball?????:facepalm
 
Lucky for us Texas is having trouble scoring right now but I don't expect that to continue.
 
For those able to watch the game, why have we not been to the free throw line? per the box score, Texas has fouled 8 times, but on the seventh one, we didn't go to the line???
 
Bad enough for KK to miss the front end of a 1&1, but here is Kornet doing the same!

It isn't that HARD to shoot free throws, you're not guarded! Gr-r

Makes you wonder what we do in practice??? Unforced errors and missed free throws.

No inside game......might as well pass it side to side till we get a good look at a 3.

The first half was hard to watch....maybe it's only me.:facepalm
 
UT shoots the ball and 4 players go after the rebound. OU shoots and no one goes after the rebound.

When we do get to a rebound, UT often simply takes the ball away from us.

Gioya is playing really well. Very smart player.

Kornet needs to shoot more.

Need to keep taking the ball right at Texas and get to the line. We can get some of their players in foul trouble if we keep going inside.

Kellogg gave us some good minutes. Very good athlete.

Watch out for Fussell. That girl can score.

I'm really proud of the team for hanging in there although, I do realize UT is playing really bad and we are going to have to get ready for them to make a run in the second half. We have to be able to answer when they do.
 
Griffin and Kaylon have 2 points between them and ZERO rebounds. The nicest thing I can say about that is, pathetic.
 
Kornet, Carter, and Hook have performed well. Williams is one of five from the field, most of which haven't even hit the rim, and has zero rebounds. Right now, Durett looks better in the game than Kay Kay.

Edwards made a couple of bad mistakes and has no positives today.

I wondered if Texas was going to hit all of their threes. Didn't they hit the first three and miss the next seven?

We can't shoot over their centers, and we can't drive on them. They aren't calling those fouls. Durrett got them on a jump fake, and she also scored.

Neither of our centers has a rebound.

My thoughts exactly. Kaylon blew the one layup that was unguarded and Griffin got called for a moving screen. Inside game is just terrible.....:o
 
On a lighter note WVU leads OSU by 31 with about 7 minutes left. Baylor leads ISU by 16 with 4 minutes left in the half.
 
Carter is 3 of 4. Kornet is only 2 of 6, but the two are threes. On one shot, she fell down as she was shooting. Fouled? It wasn't clear whether something contributed to her going down, but it was strange.

Did they call a charge on Texas? They called a couple on us, one of which the announcers questioned.
