Great interview! The more I see and hear of Trae Young, the more I like him. He's cocky and self-assured on the basketball court, and rightly so. But he definitely does not come across that way in the interviews I've watched. He has also had a lot to say about putting the team first.

One more thing. If anyone has any doubt about where Rayford stands when it comes to OU's basketball program and Lon Kruger, go back and listen to his Sports Animal interview with Al Eschbach to put those fears to rest. As Trae said in this interview, hid dad is 100% on board with his decision.

Agreed. He's completely a family-first kid. Those who complained about him being me-first, a prima donna, or a drama queen were way off the mark. He's going to be a great fit and a great teammate for as long as he's in Norman.
