Missouri is really making themselves look bad in the media. They need to start doing some damage control.

Damage control for what? Mizzou hasn't done anything.
Vitale is an idiot who needs to stick to basketball... a sport in which Mizzou will more than hold its own in the SEC.
It's no secret the SEC is pretty strong at the top. Listing off the past five national champions as if it's some harbinger of Mizzou's demise is ridiculous, though. Mizzou won't be in the same division as LSU, Bama or Auburn. At most they'll play three games per season against that group (and that's including Georgia, which is also stupid; they've been no better than Mizzou lately). In most years it will only be two.
Compare that with what Mizzou's dealt with in the Big 12 and it's no more difficult (an SEC schedule would actually be easier this year).

Vitale, Mark May and several others are taking big shots at Missouri. Mark May essentailly said, no one wants you on Saturday. Your making yourselves into a joke. Apparently, the only people that can see Missouri will not be successful in the SEC are Missouri fans. The rest of the country is laughing at you and members of the media are starting to publicly mock you.
They're going to have to jigger the divisions some, because a geographic split won't work. East/ West ends up with the West being significantly weaker than the East, and North/ South has the North way worse than the South. Missouri is going to be scrambling for wins against Vandy, Kentucky, adn the Mississippi's.

Texas A&M and Missouri leaving the Big 12 will turn out to be big mistakes by them. But the Big 12 could have solved this and probably kept them if they just tried to get back to 12 teams last year instead of doing it now when they pretty much had their hands forced.

if we add BYU this conference is better than before with the addition of WVU and TCU. Football and Basketball
Missouri & aTm fit the profile perfectly for what the SEC powers desire.
State universities with underperforming athletics that will be no competitive challenge with dumb fanbases that will now chalk up their continued losing to playing the S-E-C S-E-C S-E-C.
Vitale knows this, we know this, the SEC powers know this, everybody knows it except the rubes from Missouri & aTm. There's a reason the SEC does not want WVU. They are a competitive threat.
I really don't understand why Missouri hasn't been forcibly expelled from the Big XII. O yeah, it's because we will collect more from them in exit fees than they ever generated in the first place. Lol
