Louee is the correct french pronunciation. She may prefer it pronounced otherwise or her family may have Americanized it, but the rest of her name is pure french.

Just for the record, as set forth in the other thread, in Haiti ten percent of the people speak French and the other 90 speak Haitian Creole and so there is a 90 percent chance her name would be pronounced Louis not Louee. And for those who have dismissed people for being dumb or not thinking outside the U.S., as, for the record America, is not a country; Louis is not just how people in the U.S. pronounce this name.

OH, and I don't believe she is French. Her name may be all French but that does not mean she pronounces it as the French would, but instead as one who speaks Haitian Creole. I don't think PAC 12 Announcers have been deemed to know all. Thinking Brian Brinkley should pronounce the name correctly, of a team member of the team for which he announces, is not equal to saying he is a doofus. GEEZ. smh

Agreed, but that is not good enough for some people who believe Vivi just pronounces it that way because we can't get it and is very possibly laughing at us for being idiots. So Vivi has been put-down by being protrayed as shallow and the rest of us have been who don't know the correct pronunciation which some think is French. Of course, her pronouncing it in French in Haiti is against the odds.

The entire discussion, for the most part, has been silly at best.
