Watching local sports on Tulsa station yesterday evening...

and they had a little segment with North Dakota State star Braun in a press conference and he commented that Oklahoma finished 2nd in the Big 12..then said they are going into this game with the mindset that Oklahoma is in for a long 40 minutes. Wow! Hope the team is shown this.

Go get 'em Lon and boys....them's fightin' words right there!!

I don't see anything wrong with that statement. He certainly shouldn't say they are going into the game expecting to get beat by 20 or even lose. He also shouldn't say something that is clearly insulting or disrespecting the opponent. To me he is just saying we plan to compete hard and hope to win.

Why would OU need to see this to be motivated? Its the NCAA tourney They are where they are because they get the most out of their abilities every game. They'll give their best shot Thursday Bulletin board material means nothing.
