That is all that is standing between this team and a pretty lofty level. You need that guy that can't be stopped in a game like this. Both the tying basket in regulation and the winner in the OT are probably shots that we don't have anyone who can hit consistently. Or even get open for.

His name is Frank Booker, and we haven't seen him pretty much all season unfortunately.

Booker isn't even close to what foster is. It shouldn't have even came down to foster hitting to put it in OT. Between all the GD missed FT's and the clock draining wasted possesions where we hurl up some stupid contested 3 pointer as if we're gonna make that crap. You CANNOT lose on your home court, especially to that piece of $hit team. Our luck that their fat a$$ bench post player hit every effin 18 footer he put up tonight. He was averaging 5 phuckin pts/game!! 5!!! what a total dissapointment.

When you are playing teams with nothing to lose you have to punch them in the mouth right away and hard to let them know this our court the guys came out flat.

I'd venture to say that that was the best defensive game KSt. will play this year and they did play a good defensive game.

Our Foster scored 31 yesterday. That wasn't the problem. Cousins and Woodard had 4 points and 2 assists in 81 minutes.

That was the problem.

What we need is Kyan Anderson, Staten, Hickey, Taylor, Morris and/or Mason type point guard that can score and distribute. Only reason U Conn has 2 NC's is that they had great point guard play with Walker and Napir.

By the way Woodard is 3-25 in Big 12 play shooting so this is not his first bad game.

Buddy doesn't have the complete game that Foster has. Cousins and even Walker may be closer. Even Thomas may be closer. You need someone that can score in any fashion required with the other team loading up on defense against them. A pretty rare quality but Foster has it. You don't want to be involved in a close game against Kansas State.

Also that player has to want the ball in that situation and gets themself in a position to get it. Not sure Buddy and Cousins are there yet. And while I am overjoyed with Kruger as a coach he may need to try to get them the ball in crunch time. We had the wrong players taking the final shot on both occasions.

The bad news is that we are playing against another Foster type player in Staten next.
