I know I'm committing excessive hybris here...but looks like there may be another storm coming our way just in time for another nationally televised home game. :facepalm
Also in some way kind of trying for a jinx topic here because I really don't want weather affecting the Texas game. Baylor...it was fine. Texas game has too much potential IMO to let that nationally televised broadcast go to waste.
I can't work well by myself lol but if some other Capelables were to join me I'd be perfectly willing to canvas the South Oval telling people about this one.
Of course, this is all based on my assumption that the storm will still be shown on forecast models as of Mon/Tues. I tend to think between the hot streak we're on and the fact that we'll be playing a Top 5 saxeT team that the atmosphere will be pretty good either way.
I'll drive from OKC no matter what the weather is. I was not enjoying going to the early nonconference games but am finally looking forward to seeing OU basketball in person. It is good to have a team that is improving and competing again.
The NWS is predicting 4-10 with some local amounts higher. Its too far off to get the exact amount for the OKC area yet. They will probably have a better idea 12 hours from now.
i might just drive on down to norman tuesday night so i can make it wednesday i was sooo heart broken not to make it to the baylor game. had to watch online & it kept "loading" & i was just sad
