I don't think this is correct. In football, if a team doesn't get an invite to a bowl game their season is done, including no organized practices. I'd guess the NCAA has a rule prohibiting practice if you don't make the tournament in basketball, too. Just a guess on my part...maybe somebody knows differently.

Not to mention I think OU is on spring break this week...or was it last week?

Only reason I ask is becasue 2-3 years ago, Tenn. women suffered an early loss and Pat Summit made all players, including seniors, go back and practice.

How can you "make" a senior go back and practice?

Unless they changed the rules recently, you can practice through the end of the NCAA tournament.

It's Pat Summit, I have neither desire nor the ability to understand what she does in her program....doubt it is as entertaining as all of the female prison movies I watched in the 80's though.

"Players who enter the draft and don't have agents can withdraw and return to school, but a new NCAA rule means they must do so by May 8. In the past, they had until mid-June."

I remember reading that in one of the Willie stories this year; I think either the season ending surgery one or the Willie's coming back one, but it mentioned that the rule change could affect wether WW comes out or not.
