10th Seed. Face Depaul 27-6. If we win, then Duke.

Yikes. We can beat Depaul. Maybe. I hope. Depends upon which OU shows up.

Duke is minus all PGs, it's not the same team we faced earlier in the year we got a shot at sweet sixteen.

Congratulations, girls!

Didn't really expect any favors. If this team is playing their best, they can beat lots of teams seeded higher than they are.

Not just Duke in the second round, but Duke on their home court.

The seeding was appropriate.

OU was probably the last at-large in. The last 4 were BYU, UFla, FSU, and OU. Of those 4, OU had the worst record.

Edit ..... Whoops, probably not ----- FSU was a 10th seed, UF was an 11th, and BYU a 12th.

Welcome back, Darth. Good to know about Duke. Thanks. It still all depends on which OU team shows up.

DePaul may be just as tough or even tougher. Watched them a bit last time out. They won a dog fight.

Yea!! We're in, seniors get to play in NCAA every year at OU. Congrats to the team and good luck.

I expected the Sooners to get a 7-seed based upon their RPI ranking combined with Jeff Sagarin's ranking around 20.

Big deal. This team needs the incentive of a perceived slight, and what's the difference between a 7 and a 10 when the 10 plays the 7 in the first round?

It's not about the seed, it's about who wins and who loses. That is ALL that matters. At least OU didn't get an 8 or 9. That would've meant an almost certain loss in the second round to UConn.

(ycn, checking in)

Yep, unless UCONN has some bad luck, they will most likely win it all, again.

Yes!! Happy the the team is in, I think if we play hard we can get back to the sweet 16! DePaul won't be easy nor will duke, but I think we have a chance Duke doesn't have there point guards. And Aaryn could be a tough guard for there current perimeter.

Really nice to see 15th straight appearance, this will be good for the youngsters to experience and hopefully keep them hungry for more. If we can get by a tough Depaul team, please let us work on defending the three. Duke wore us out at home.

It's late, but this team still as time to get a little 'mud in their blood', as Kelvin used to say.

IMO this is the best draw we could have gotten playing Depaul (they did not impress me when I saw them play). Then if we win playing an injured rattle Duke team that we play earlier in the year. We can lose in the first round or we can go to the elite eight depend on which sooner team shows up.
