I was busy acting like a 12 year old boy who just got his World of Warcraft subscription cancelled by his parents and didn't see what happened after Cade hit the 2 (which was clearly a 2). What happened? Why didn't our team notice it was a 2 and foul?

They went down and shot a half court shot and made it.... ball game.

dick lol... i think that is the best coaching move capel could have done tho.. you dont wanna foul and then find out it was a 3..

Re: WTF happened in the last 3.5 seconds?

Our guys thought it was a 3 and that the game was tied, apparently.

Re: WTF happened in the last 3.5 seconds?

Their guys thought the same thing, it was a crapshoot.

How the **** do you not realize it was a 2? My basketball IQ is about the same as Vince Young's regular IQ and even I saw that was clearly a 2. Ugh.

There's no need to insult yourself. :ez-laugh:

3.7 seconds - you are finding your man and making sure they don't get a run out and an easy basket. You don't really have time to watch what the ref is doing.

BS not in real time.. unless you were at the game.. in a game you dont notice things like that all of the time.. and its a 50/50 call on fouling or not then.. you guys all saw the oregon ou review debacle.. i had more faith in the refs getting the wrong call there as i would have of us making a 3/4 courter shot for the win

It looked like a 3 on my 32" LCD tv...

I think everyone in the building thought it was a 3 for that instant. Cade probably thought it was a 3. We couldn't foul them and let them win the game if it was a 3. That would have been just as stupid if it was only a few centimeters different.

I was at the game in the front row of The Capelables section and I clearly saw it was a 2. I know T_Neal's_Twitter also saw it in real time because he threw his hard hat at the same time I threw my wig, lol.

This just blows...losses like these are much worse to take than losses like the Texas game.

ya i know YOU saw it.. you also arent guarding anybody.. crashing for rebounds.. so you can sit and stare at his feet...

Re: WTF happened in the last 3.5 seconds?

it happened right in front of me. knew it was a two. I was screaming for us to foul. only one other guy around me noticed as well. mass confusion, but someone on the bench should have noticed.

This is true, I'll give you that for sure.

Re: WTF happened in the last 3.5 seconds?

From my seat on row 18 in the lower bowl it looked like a three, but I saw the ref holding up two fingers. For those of you who watched on TV, did Fitz really walk before the shot he made that was called off? It looked like he dribbled and shot cleanly from my viewpoint in the stands. I also thought Fitz was called for a phantom foul on his last foul. There were a lot of little things and some big things (like the inbounds snafu and Cade's missed free throws) that kept happening all night to keep NU in position to win.

No. He did not walk.
