What I like about this Bracket

No one, I mean no one on these shows are talking about us even winning a game. I think we have a great chance against SDSU. They are a great team and have played some great teams in a deep MWC, but we have battled top teams all year. If everyone shows up, which I think the 4 seniors will since this is their final year and first taste of the big dance, we can shock some people and make a run. Not to look ahead but if we were to upset SDSU and play gtown, they get really streaky. We are being overlooked I think and our boys need to seize this opportunity.

I appreciate your excitement, but the consensus on the ESPN show was that we would win this game because of our seniors and the ability to score.

Mountain West was RPI 1 or 2 basically all year long as far as a conference...so, their conference was definitely strong...

That said, the more I read about it and look at it, the more I like the matchup...they've struggled pretty badly away from home (1-7 in their last 8 from what I saw)...this will be a long road trip for them, and I wouldn't be surprised if we have more support (with it being so close to Cousins, Pledger, and Fitzgerald's families)...

yeah my father is trying to get a ticket for the 2 1/2 hour drive from VA to philly, so it is a doable drive for pledge being from VA. That said, of course the year I go off to college we end up playing a game that I could go to.

We could easily lose the game. I do like it that we have a couple players from that area in Pledger, Fitz, and Cousins so that helps us a little. Still this will be a bout the experience. I'll be satisfied if we just compete and have a chance to win against San Diego State.

I dont think anybody on ESPN thinks SDS or OU can do anything. I dont think they care because I think they think whoever wins will lose to G-Town without a doubt.

And that may be the case, but Georgetown has a lot of recent history of bowing out early. Maybe this year is different, but I'd like to get past SDS to find out.
