I think people are a little hard-headed. PEOPLE AREN'T LEAVING EARLY IN DROVES, THEY ARE GOING TO THE CONCOURSES TO WATCH/CHEER FROM A PLACE OTHER THAN THEIR SEAT FOR THE MOST PART.
I don't do it, but I can see why people would. I solve the problem by parking close to the exits for easy access to the streets.
As for the ten minutes early argument, it's not just that. I'd rather spend ten minutes doing just about anything other than sitting in a parking lot waiting to go somewhere. It's the opposite of relaxing. I did it last game because I parked elsewhere and it made me wish I had gone to the concourse.
