I think 2012 has the potential to be the best high school class ever to come out of Oklahoma.
Nino Jackson
Jake Bullard
Que Paras
Revey Norton
Garret Hermanski
James Woodard
D' Andrea Wright
Aaron Anderson
Matt Christiansen

Has the State of Oklahoma ever had a class this deep?

1982 is still the best. Three NBA players (Wayman Tisdale, Mark Price, Anthony Bowie) plus Steve Hale who played four years at North Carolina and was drafted. If 2012 comes close to that, I will be crazy impressed.

Deepest is harder to say.

Is this thread a joke? obviously 82 was great and don't forget

Bookout - ou
Alexander - ou
Williams - duke
Azubuike - kentucky
Hayden - kansas state

and there were some other D1 players also.

I think 2012 Can if some of those players develop All those players i posted are D1 players right now.

Its hard to top 3 NBA players especially when that class might not produce any. Nino is the player with the best chance cuz he's such a great athlete but I'm not sure if he will make it cuz he's built like a 1 and is clearly a 2 right now. Going to take a lot of dedication for Nino to make it the league, if he puts his mind to it he could but based on stuff you hear about him he has a ways to go.

2012 could be one of the deepest classes but overall talent I don't think it will touch others. 2013 could end of giving 2012 a run for its money as far as depth as well.

Never trust a class until several prove it substantially at the D1 level; hype in high schoolers is pretty commonplace nowadays. These guys have literally done nothing to deserve "best to come out of Oklahoma", superlatives are gonna need some proof of purchase before they get "best of" love. 6 years from now is not even enough, do we really need to jump the gun and proclaim anything now?

I agree. I think the 82 class has to be the best. But I can't find lists of players from every Oklahoma class of all time. Was there anyone in Alvin Adams class that did anything at the HS or College level? I'm sure there were some other good classes in the 60s and 70s. Until proven otherwise it has to be 82. The 02 class had a couple NBA players a few good college players. That's about it. The 82 class had Mark Price who was a great PG. Wayman Tisdale had a great pro career too.
