When does practice start?

The first game is November 5th. What's happening now? Strenght and conditioning, I know, but what else? When does practice start?
Sooner sports hasnt mentioned softball lately. I'm sure they're practicing . When is the first game? What's going on there?

If memory serves, I believe "official practice" starts around October 13th give or take a day or two.

Getting information on women's sports out of Sooner Sports is difficult. Obviously too difficult for them to provide.

ESPECIALLY during football season. Now all that can be talked about is Trevor Knight who has been christened "God." Not knocking Trevor or Christianity, just making a point that football and the OU quarterback IS Sooner Sports. If Sherri Coale did not have such a great public personality and following, I am sure we would hear much less about women's basketball.

EDIT: The above sounds pretty harsh but I did not intend it that way nor feel angry was just attempting to make a point about the reality of the situation as I see it. The internet is not really conducive to real communication.

Understand the frustation, but football pays for all the ladies sports.
